    • Another Black Man, Inspired by Black Lives Matter, Shoots Cops & Whites - This Time in Tenessee
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released the name of the suspect behind Thursday morning's series of shootings in Bristol, TN that claimed the life of an area newspaper carrier and injured three others, including a local police officer.

The TBI says 37-year-old Lakeem Keon Scott "acted alone" and was armed with at least two weapons, an "automatic-style" rifle, a pistol and a large amount of ammunition.

Investigators spoke with Scott Friday morning. Preliminary findings indicate Scott may have targeted people and officers after being troubled by recent events involving black people and law enforcement officers in other parts of the country.

    • Orlando gunman's father says attack "nothing to do with religion"
Sorry, pal. Islam in all of its flavors is as American as Protestantism.

Fundamentalist islam calls for shooting up a fag bar, so shooting up a fag bar is part of American multiculturalism.

If you can't live in harmony with fundamentalist muslims who shoot up a fag bar, get out of the country.

      Why do you hate multiculturalism?

    • Orlando Shooter's father tried to run for Afghan presidency & supported Taliban
The father of Omar Mateen, identified by police as the man behind the carnage at an Orlando nightclub early Sunday morning, is an Afghan man who holds strong political views, including support for the Afghan Taliban.

Seddique Mateen, who has been referred to as Mir Seddique in early news reports, hosted a television show called Durand Jirga on a channel called Payam-e-Afghan, which broadcasts from California. In it, the elder Mateen speaks in the Dari language on a variety of political subjects. Dozens of videos are posted on a channel under Seddique Mateen's name on YouTube. A phone number and post office box that are displayed on the show were traced back to the Mateen home in Florida. Mateen also owns a non-profit organization under the name Durand Jirga which is registered in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

In one video, Mateen expresses gratitude towards the Afghan Taliban, while denouncing the Pakistani government.

"Our brothers in Waziristan, our warrior brothers in Taliban movement, and national Afghan Taliban are rising up," he says. "Inshallah the Durand line issue will be solved soon."

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- A gunman wielding an assault-type rifle and a handgun opened fire inside a crowded gay nightclub early Sunday, killing at least 50 people before dying in a gunfight with SWAT officers, police said. It was the worst mass shooting in American history.

Authorities were investigating the attack on the Florida dance hall as an act of terrorism. The gunman's father recalled that his son recently got angry when he saw two men kissing in Miami and said that might be related to the attack.

      ASSOCIATED PRESS JUNE 2, 2016

LOS ANGELES - The friend who bought the high-powered rifles used in the San Bernardino terrorist attack had ties to a group of California jihadists arrested in 2012 as they tried to fly to Afghanistan to join Al Qaeda, federal prosecutors said.

The revelation by prosecutors filed Tuesday is the first time they have linked Enrique Marquez Jr. with other possible terrorists. The FBI has always said its investigators couldn't find any link between Marquez and other terrorists.
