Why do the banners all look well proportioned here, yet on the masthead they're cropped off at the bottom?

Especially Rex, Lady J (with head scarf), Milton.

Sometimes an emote has "square" sides. Ninety-degrees. Usually near the emote bottom. When blown up, it gets really evident. Especially on banner backgrounds. The emotes can look like Venus de Milo. So you scale the emote size up and drag it downward to hide the edges below the baseline.

    • JT: great to see your skills all over this today.
do you have time to make a nite crew banner?
you know, a combo of "it sucks to be you" with our faux?
we would be forever grateful if you can squeeze it into your schedule.
we are feeling left out at this point.

      Or...

Guide to making a header banner for the board #2

both good but the words NITE CREW don't appear in either which doesn't help get the point across man.

I figured the wizard dude image and the caption said it. Don't worry, everyone will recognize the elements as representing nite crew. And I needed to stay within that design etiquette of previous banners.

The banners look different when implemented, too. Much.

    • Delete the ones with stretched emotes. If someone can't paste an emote in proper proportion they need to die.

Because I have to account for lower resolutions being taller.

Lower resolutions would get a black bar if I didn't chop in normal resolution.

And if I can get an okay from its author... want me to rearrange that one? Bring the fauxmote down to the baseline, and so on?

i placed the fauxmote floating up, because all the banners get cropped at the baseline, i just saw it has already been added, and it works.
